Getting Started: Installing Aimanix AI Sales Assistant

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • PHP 8.1 or higher
  • WooCommerce 7.0+ (optional but recommended)
  • An API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or Groq

Step 1: Install the Plugin

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  3. Search for Aimanix AI Sales Assistant — or upload the ZIP file if you have a Pro license.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate.

Step 2: Add Your API Key

After activation, go to Aimanix > Settings > Advanced and enter your AI provider API key. The plugin supports OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Groq.

Step 3: Run the Setup Wizard

The setup wizard appears automatically. It guides you through: choosing your business goal, connecting your AI provider, syncing your content, and customizing the widget.

Step 4: Sync Your Content

Go to Aimanix > Overview and click Start Indexing. The plugin crawls your pages, posts, and WooCommerce products to build the AI knowledge base. Indexing typically takes 1-5 minutes depending on store size.

You Are Live!

Once indexing completes, the chat widget appears on your storefront. Visitors can ask product questions and get AI answers grounded in your actual content.
