Customizing the Chat Widget

Widget Settings Location

All widget settings are found in Aimanix > Settings > Widget tab in your WordPress admin.

Appearance Settings

• Widget Title — The heading shown at the top of the chat window (default: Ask Us Anything)
• Welcome Message — First message shown to new visitors
• Placeholder Text — Hint text inside the input field
• Primary Color — Button and header color (use any hex code)
• Position — Bottom-right or bottom-left

Tone Settings

Choose how the AI responds:

• Friendly — Warm and approachable
• Professional — Formal business tone
• Casual — Relaxed and conversational
• Custom — Write your own tone instructions

Quick Replies

Add up to 6 quick-reply buttons that appear in the chat for common questions. Go to Settings > Widget and add your quick replies in the Quick Replies field, one per line.

Display Contexts

Control which pages show the widget: homepage, product pages, cart, checkout, blog posts, and more. Disable on specific pages using the Display Contexts setting.

Disabling the Widget

To temporarily hide the widget without deactivating the plugin, uncheck Widget Enabled in Settings > Widget.
